Susan graduated from drama school in Arnhem in 1995.
She has acted with Het Oranjehotel (Ivar van Urk), Les Enfants Terribles (Bert Oele and Erwin Kokkelkoren), Gnaffel (Pieter Vrijman), Kruis van Bourgondië (Nora van Dam), and Jeugdtheater Alkmaar (Christiaan Nortier), among others.
Additionally, she has worked for many years as a clinic clown.
On screen, she was seen as a Jehovah's Witness in Oogappels (directed by Will Koopman), as a mayor in de Troubadour (directed by Nico Strik), as a puppet woman in Einzelgänger (directed by Anne van Helvoort), as a mother in Kankerlijers (directed by Lodewijk Crijns), and as Leonie Miedema, a farmer in Zussen (directed by Annemarie van de Mond and Michiel de Jong).
Susan is endowed with a comedic talent and, therefore, has good timing.
